convert_emiss with multiple nest

First, I must say that I am a new WRF-Chem user
Currently i use convert_emis utility to prepare emissions for a 6 "side by side" nest simulation using the ndown approach (parent -> ndown -> nest -> create emission)
To do this, I rotate the namelists and run convert_emiss multiple times to generate wrfchemi emiss files for each hour of simulation (78 total) for each nest
my questions are
1) can i use convert_emmis to create emission files for all nest simultaneously?
2) can i produce in a single step hourly emission spanning for 78 hours? the loop i do works buts seem a little awkward
