Negative SNOW, SNOWH variables in the nest grid

Hi, WRF users. . .

I try to solve the task of delayed initialization of the inner grid in the ARW (3.2.1 or 3.3.1 versions) model runs (for example, outer domain at 45 km, nest at 15km). It need for using of TC BOGUS (tc.exe).
My domain is over North-Western Pacific. Model runs are based on summer season datasets.
I found that if I set input_from_file and fine_input_stream so that static data like topography comes from the wrfinput_d0x files, and the modified atmospheric data is interpolated from the parent grid. Ie:
input_from_file = .true.,.false,
fine_input_stream = 0, 2,
then the variables SNOW, SNOWH, SNOWC (in files wrfout_d01_YYYY-MM-DD_HH:00:00 and wrfout_d02_YYYY-MM-DD_HH:00:00) are set to «-1» over the sea and over nest grid domain!
If I set
input_from_file = .true.,. .true.,
fine_input_stream = 0, 2,
then the variable SNOW, SNOWH – are normal, but , SNOWC is «-1» over sea.
And final note, if I set
input_from_file = .true.,. .true.,
fine_input_stream = 0, 0,
then the variables SNOW, SNOWH, SNOWC – are normal everywhere (0 over the land and sea).
For clearness I do not use program tc.exe, ie. use output from metgrid.
Another variables are normal.


Any thoughts?

input_from_file = .true.,.false.,
fine_input_stream = 0, 2,

When input_from_file = .false. for domain 2, you cannot set fine_input_stream = 2. The second option
depends on the first option to be true.

But.
1. I think in this case the program real.exe must to check bad combination of options (input_from_file and fine_input_stream) from namelist.input....
2. SNOWC is not initialized in the nest grid when
fine_input_stream = 0, 2,
input_from_file = .true.,.true.,

Any thoughts?
