problem with aer_opt

problem with aer_opt

I am running the WRF single column model to investigate the effect of aerosols, using aer_opt=2.
The wrfout file I get after each run does not show the value which I defined for the single scattering albedo and asymmettry factor, aer_ssa_val and aer_asy_val, respectively. Rather both show a value of 1.4013E-45.

Changing the valyes of aer_ssa_val and aer_asy_val, does change the output temperature and so it seems that they are being read by the model.

How can I check whether or not the WRF is in fact using the values I have defined?
