Hello,

I have an issue I am having a hard time resolving. For a specific run I have, I can get WRF to complete as long as there is no input from WRFDA, i.e. I do not use da_update_bc.exe. That's the baseline

My problem is, I have wrfvar_output from 4DVAR (which ran without error) and after updating the boundary conditions, my WRF run will not even get past the first time step. I have unlimited stack size, reduced timestep multiple times (27km with a timestep of 60, even 10 does not work), turned w_damping = 1.

I used gfortran to compile WRF and it is version 3.9.1.1

Running through gdb I get to this step before the program crashes:

#0 0x000000000233fe6d in __module_sf_sfclayrev_MOD_psim_stable ()
Cannot access memory at address 0x7fff353ac918

So I know for a fact that something that 4DVAR did and the subsequent boundary update are what's causing the problem. I just don't know how to fix it...
