WRF3DVAR 3.1.1 compilation error in IBM

Dear All,

I am trying to install WRFDA_V3_0_1_1 IBM P575 P5 series 64bit AIX machine, xlf90_r compiler with cc_r. I have successfully installed and ran WRF v3.1.1 and WPS with the same. While I install the WRFDA following errors

( cd var/build; touch depend.txt; make links; make depend; make -i -r all_wrfvar )
/bin/sh: /usr/bin/ln: 0403-027 The parameter list is too long.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 126.


Stop.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 2.


Stop.

Did anyone encounter problems while compiling WRF-Var with this compiler?

i am also facing the same problem. i also got same error message when i try to install wrfda_V3.1.1 in IBM machine can any body help me

thank you sir. yesterday i have successfully installed WRFDA-V3.1.1 in our IBM high end server(AIX 5.3).
